MSHA 8-Hour Annual Training for Experienced Underground Miners
Course Time: 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
This training gives experienced underground miners the knowledge they need to face the safety and health hazards involved in underground mining. Participants will learn their rights and responsibilities, job related safety procedures and rescue and first aid techniques. Students will receive their MSHA 5000-23 form upon completion. Please pre-register for the course.
MSHA Site-Specific Requirements: Due to the diversity of our students, task and hazard awareness training will not be included in the Utah Safety Council training session. The site-specific training must be conducted at the mine site according to the mine operator’s training plan.
This course is also available on-site or specially arranged at the Utah Safety Council's training center.
Member: $900 per class up to 10 participants, each additional participant is $65.
Non-Member: $1,000 per class up to 10 participants, each additional participant is $75.
