Protecting Ourselves from Slips, Trips and Falls

Falls are the leading cause of injury-related deaths among adults age 73 and older and are the second leading cause of death for ages 60-72. Falls are also the main cause of injuries to children under age 14.

In 2007, more than 21,700 Americans died as a result of falls, and more than 7.9 million were injured by a fall. The resources below can help you protect yourself and your loved ones from falls.
