Struggling to find the money to meet your training needs? Apply now for the Utah Safety Council's Workplace Safety Scholarship Program and save 50% on the cost of applicable courses. The purpose of the scholarship program is to increase the knowledge and skill level of safety professionals and thereby increase their ability to impact safety performance within their organizations.
Professional Development Scholarships are available to all organizations throughout the state of Utah regardless of size for professional development courses
In order to assure that the scholarship programs impact as many organizations as possible, scholarships will be limited to one person, per company per course. Scholarships do not apply to online training.
How to Apply?
Candidates must fill out an application and return it to the Safety Training Program Coordinator, Utah Safety Council, 1574 West 1700 South, Suite 2A, Salt Lake City, Utah, 84104. Fax 801.478.0884.
You Will Receive
The Utah Safety Council will award scholarships on a first come, first serve basis. Scholarship awards are dependent on availability of funds. A scholarship will cover 50% of the of the cost for courses listed below.

- Lift Truck Instructor Certification Course
- Job Safety Analysis: Effective Methods for Controlling Hazards
- Lockout/Tagout: OSHA Comp. Series
- Machine Guarding: OSHA Comp. Series
- OSHA 10-Hour Outreach Course for General Industry
- OSHA 10-Hour Outreach Course for the Construction Industry
