Alive at 25 Course Locations

Roy High School is the First school in Utah to Offer this Program

A press conference was held at Roy High School on November 27, 2007. Robert Parenti, President of the Utah Safety Council and Chief Greg Whinham, Roy City Police Department conducted the press conference. The purpose of the press conference was to announce Utah's first school-based Alive at 25 course. The first class was conducted at Roy High School on the date of the press conference. The goal is to offer this course to 700 students over the course of the school year. Pictured right is Mayor Joe H. Ritchie and Chief Greg Whinham. The Utah Safety Council would like to thank them for their support and dedication in getting this program established at Roy High School.

Current Course Locations

We are currently teaching Alive at 25 at Roy High School, Roy City Youth Court, and Viewmont High School.

Future Expansion Plans

Plans are under way to expand the program to Syracuse, San Juan and Cottonwood High Schools. Law enforcement agencies representing the Utah Highway Patrol, Roy City Police Department, Bountiful City Police Department, Syracuse Police Department, and the North Ogden Police Department have partnered with the Utah Safety Council in implementing this program statewide by certifying their officers as instructors.
