Drive your workplace safety program to a new, more powerful level by earning your Advanced Safety Certificate (ASC).The National Safety Council’s Advanced Safety Certificate Program (ASC) is a nationally recognized safety curriculum based on proven best practices. Participants will develop the skills necessary to think critically about safety, create comprehensive safety plans and execute on those plans. This certificate qualifies for the Workplace Safety Scholarship Program. Each recipient receives a certificate and plaque certifying his or her completion of the Advanced Safety Certificate.
The National Safety Council's Advanced Safety Certificate is earned by successfully completing Principles of Occupational Safety and Health, and 5.2 additional Continuing Educational Units (CEUs) from the following courses within a five-year period:

"The Advanced Safety Certificate is great to have, but the classes that we had taken have really educated me on safety as a whole. I took the four day classes and each one has taught me what it really means to be a safety professional. Each course had given us goals to take back to our companies and work on with what we had learned in each class. By working on one of these particular goals, we here at Major Drilling had identified a great risk to our crews that had never been identified before and that made everything worth it right there. Having a Safety Management System class made us look at our current system and really improve on an already great system. Having instruction from an Industrial Hygienist at one of the classes taught me things that I thought I knew and didn’t. This class was a great boost of knowledge of requirements, how to safely comply using the right equipment and how to use the right equipment.
