MSHA 32-Hour New Miners (Underground) - WEB-BASED

Course Time: 7:00 a.m. MST - 4:00 p.m. MST

This is a live, interactive class that will complete the classroom requirement for MSHA 32-Hour Underground New Miner.  This class is approved by MSHA and students will receive a 5000-23 certificate with completion.  Each student is required to have access to a desktop or laptop, web camera, microphone, speakers, and internet for all four days of the course.  Students that would like to receive their complete First Aid / CPR / AED certificate will need to schedule an appointment with our skills tester upon completion of this course. Cost of skills test is $30.00 but is NOT required to complete your MSHA training. 

This WEB-BASED training course gives new miners the knowledge they need to face the safety and health hazards involved in underground mining. Participants will learn their rights and responsibilities, job related safety procedures, rescue and first aid techniques. Students will receive a MSHA 5000-23 form upon completion. 

MSHA Site-Specific Requirements: This course provides participants with a total of 32 hours of the 40 hours required for new underground miners. The site-specific training must be conducted at the mine site according to the mine operator’s training plan. This constitutes the remaining eight-hours of required training for underground new miners.

This course is also available specially arranged at your location or web-based.
Member: $4,000 per class up to 10 participants, each additional participant is $335.
Non-Member: $4,450 per class up to 10 participants, each additional participant is $375.
