This web-based Team Safety course delivers the same engaging content and outcomes as our in-person training, in a live, instructor-led virtual format.

Participants will gain practical tools for building and supporting effective safety teams to strengthen communication, leadership, and safety culture within their organization.

The course focuses on teamwork fundamentals, communication strategies, and practical techniques participants can immediately apply in their workplace.

What You’ll Learn

Participants will learn how to:

• Build and strengthen a workplace safety team
• Identify the training and development needs of team members
• Improve communication and meeting facilitation skills
• Increase team influence and engagement across the organization
• Support long-term improvement in safety culture

Continuing Education:
Earn 0.65 CEUs toward the National Safety Council’s Advanced Safety Certificate (ASC).

Required Equipment

Participants must use a computer or laptop with a working:

• Webcam
• Microphone
• Speakers or headphones
• Reliable internet connection

Smartphones and tablets may be used but are not recommended.

Participation Expectations

Participants must attend the full course to receive a certificate.
Students who arrive late, leave early, or do not actively participate may be dismissed and will not be eligible for a refund. 

Refund & Credit Policy

  Utah Safety Council does not issue refunds for this course.
  If you are unable to attend, the cost of the course may be applied as a credit toward a future Utah Safety Council training, subject to training policies.

This Course is also available on-site or specially arranged to be held at the Utah Safety Council's training center.
Member: $2,850 per class up to 10 participants, each additional participant $230.
Non-Member: $3,700 per class up to 10 participants, each additional participant $300.
