Mental Health First Aid

We are excited to introduce the Mental Health First Aid Course in partnership with our friends from Recovery Friendly Workplace to our members and community in Utah and surrounding states. This course will be held at the Utah Safety Council location at: 11075 S State St, STE 28, Sandy, UT 84070.  

Course Time: 8:00a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 

WHAT IT COVERS:

• Common signs and symptoms of mental health challenges
• Common signs and symptoms of substance use challenges
• How to interact with a person in crisis
• How to connect a person with help
• Expanded content on trauma, substance use and self-care

Who needs to know Mental Health First Aid?

Employers, Police Officers, Hospital Staff, First Responders, and caring individuals.
