MSHA Part 46 Approved Instructor Training

This is a live, instructor-led course designed for individuals seeking to become competent persons and trainers under MSHA Part 46. The training focuses on Part 46 regulatory requirements, training plan structure, lesson development, documentation, and recordkeeping.

This course is hosted as an in-house training at a designated host facility.

Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certificate of completion documenting MSHA Part 46 instructor training.

Key Learning Outcomes

Please Note

Participants must be present for the full course to receive a certificate of completion. Utah Safety Council reserves the right to remove participants for disruptive behavior or failure to comply with course expectations.

No Refund & Cancellation Policy

This course is non-refundable due to limited seating and advance planning requirements.

Cancellations must be received at least 72 hours prior to the course start date to be eligible for a credit toward a future training.
Cancellations received within 72 hours of the course start date, or failure to attend, will result in forfeiture of the full course fee.

Compliance Notice

Utah Safety Council provides MSHA Part 46 training as a cooperative training provider. Utah Safety Council is not the mine operator and does not assume responsibility for mine-specific training plans. Mine operators and contractors are responsible for maintaining MSHA-compliant Part 46 training plans and designating responsible and competent persons in accordance with 30 CFR Part 46.
