Course Description

Have you recently been assigned responsibility for workplace safety and are not sure where to begin?

You’ve Just Been Made the Safety Manager—Now What? provides new and developing safety professionals with a clear starting point for organizing and managing workplace safety responsibilities. Participants will learn the basic components of an effective safety and health management system and receive practical guidance for establishing a new program or strengthening an existing one.

The course focuses on management commitment, employee involvement, workplace hazard identification, hazard prevention and control, safety training, and continuous improvement.
