Course Description
Hazards can be present in every workplace but recognizing them early is an important part of preventing injuries and incidents.
This practical one-hour course helps participants identify common workplace hazards, understand how risk is evaluated, and recognize when corrective action is needed. Participants will learn how to look beyond obvious hazards and develop a more proactive approach to workplace safety.

- Understanding workplace hazards
- Recognizing unsafe conditions and unsafe actions
- Identifying physical, chemical, biological, and ergonomic hazards
- Evaluating the severity and likelihood of risk
- Reporting and documenting hazards
- Selecting appropriate corrective actions
- Encouraging employee participation in hazard recognition
- Supporting ongoing workplace inspections and prevention efforts
