NFPA 70E - 2024 Edition - The latest consensus standard for electrical safety in the workplace.

Avoid electrical injuries, deaths, and OSHA violations by attending this course. This NFPA 70E course will review the most current edition of the standard and explain how and why NFPA 70E protects personnel from potentially deadly hazards.

Upon completion students should be able to:

• Understand the difference between the OSHA electrical regulations and the NFPA 70E consensus standard
• Know the components of a complete electrical safety program and why it is necessary and beneficial
• List the key sections and elements of the NFPA 70E standard.
• Better understand the hazards of arc flash
• Know when an energized work permit is required
• Comprehend incident energy and labeling requirements
• Understand the importance of establishing an electrically safe work condition
• Identify required elements of an arc flash risk analysis
• Understand the different levels of PPE prescribed by NFPA 70E

 Students will receive a 2024 NFPA 70E Electrical Safety in the Workplace Regulation Manual.

 This course qualifies for the Workplace Scholarship Program.

Course also available on-site or specially arranged at the Utah Safety Council’s training center.
Member: $975 per class up to 10 participants, each additional participant $85.
Non-Member: $1,265 per class up to 10 participants, each additional participant $100.
